LogPad guide
A simple daily review workflow for LogPad
A daily review turns quick capture into a useful record. It gives you a short time to find follow-ups, add structure, and make sure important notes do not disappear.
Morning review
- Check notes or reminders that need attention today.
- Capture the priorities already on your mind.
- Open any Smart Folders that represent active projects or follow-ups.
During the day
Capture quickly. Do not over-format every note. Add tags or mentions only when they are obvious and useful in the moment.
Evening review
- Search or filter today's notes.
- Add missing tags, mentions, or links where they will help future retrieval.
- Move follow-up notes into a Smart Folder pattern if needed.
- Export important notes when they need to become records or deliverables.
Keep it short
A daily review should usually take minutes, not an hour. The goal is to trust your capture system, not create another complicated planning ritual.
