How to use Link Stickers in PencilTime
Link Stickers turn handwritten planner pages into a connected planning system. Use them when one page should jump to another page, note, project dashboard, or recurring reference.
Good uses for Link Stickers
- Link a daily plan to a project Note Page.
- Create a dashboard note that points to important weeks, months, or projects.
- Connect a meeting note back to the day it happened.
- Keep repeated routines, review pages, or class pages one tap away.
Create a Link Sticker
- Open the sticker menu and choose Link Sticker.
- Enter a short label, such as "Project Plan" or "Weekly Review".
- Choose a planner page or Note Page destination.
- Customize the label style so it is easy to recognize later.
- Save the sticker on the page where you want the shortcut to appear.
Link Stickers vs bookmarks
Use Link Stickers when the shortcut belongs in the context of a page. Use bookmarks when you want a global list of pages you visit often. Many workflows use both: a project dashboard might be bookmarked, while individual daily pages contain Link Stickers back to that dashboard.
Example: project dashboard
Create one Note Page for a project. Add Link Stickers to the project kickoff date, current week, next milestone, and meeting notes. Then place a return Link Sticker on each of those pages so the project dashboard stays easy to reach.
